If you're an existing user and unable to see your records after logging in, we recommend checking if you're logged in with the right account that contains your records.

Sometimes, users may inadvertently log in and work via another account that was registered under a different email or through FastJobs or Singapass accounts previously.

I have issues with my payout or I would like to submit a claim, reimbursement, overtime (OT) pay, how do I do so?

Any issues about reimbursements, claims, or wrong payout calculations; simply submit a "Request for Reimbursement" in the app. To submit a "Request for Reimbursement", simply go into the "Shifts" tab and tap on the Gig that you would like to submit a reimbursement.

For OT payment, you will need to submit a "Request for Reimbursement" as well as "Update Time" which can be found in the "Shifts" tab as well.

For claims that require supporting documents, for example, Taxi fare, subsidies for safety shoes/FnB cert please submit your receipt as a supporting document to our customer service email for us to verify your claims.

Approved reimbursements will be credited together with your payout.

**IMPORTANT**
All requests will need to be made by the following week's Monday to receive reimbursements on Friday.

1) The Gigger does not have the necessary requirements (certification, skills etc.).
2) The slots are full and the system is unable to allocate any more slots.

After booking a shift, the booking says "In review", what should I do next?

Cancellations must be done at least 24 hours before the shift start time. To cancel a shift, simply tap into the "Shifts" screen and view upcoming shifts. Tap on the shift you would like to cancel, followed by "Cancel Shift". Confirm to cancel your shift.

*IMPORTANT*
Any shift that is within 24 hours from the shift start time cannot be canceled.

How do I check in for a shift?

You can check in for a shift by going to the "Shifts" screen in the app. If your shift is starting soon, you will see a "Start Shift" button. Tapping on that allows you to scan the outlet QR code to check in.

Do note that you can only check in 30 minutes before the shift start time.

How do I earn a badge?

Badges are awarded based on your rating and number of completed shifts in the past 90 days. All new giggers start with a "New" badge until they qualify for their first badge. Once a gigger earns any badge, they will no longer return to "New" — the lowest badge they can drop to in the future will be Bronze. Giggers with the "New" badge will not earn any points per shift until they move up to Bronze or higher.

I have received an offer, how do I accept and confirm my shift?

When you have been offered a shift, you will receive a notification from the app to inform you that you are required to accept the offer. To do so, simply launch the app, tap on "Shifts" > "Upcoming" > Look for gig that has an "Offer" status, and confirm your availability.

Note: you are required to confirm your availability within 24 hours or your offer will be given to another Gigger.

If my badge changes, will my point earnings change too?

Yes. If your badge level changes, the number of points you earn for every future shift will update immediately. Note that badge level changes will not affect the points accumulated so far.

"Completed" means that you're clocked out from a successful shift and will be paid based on the shift's payout. This amount will be reflected in the earnings screen.

"Confirmed" means that you have accepted an allocated shift. The details of your confirmed shift can be viewed when tapping into the "Shifts" tab. Report for your shift based on the booking details indicated.

"Incomplete" means that your booking is missing certain requirements. This includes the following:

1) Uploading a verified NRIC in FastGig (Only applicable to FastGig Singapore)
2) The questionnaire is not completed when booking a shift
3) Necessary certification(s) is missing from the profile when applying for a Gig (eg. Gigger does not have a valid Food and Safety certificate when applying for a Gig that requires the certification)

What does the status "On Waitlist" mean?

"On Waitlist" means that you have applied for a Gig that is already full. Giggers on the waitlist may be notified when there is a vacant slot. Users will then have to log in to the app to confirm their availability. However, we do recommend users on the waitlist apply for other gigs/shifts as joining a waitlist does not guarantee you a slot.

What does the status "Reserved" mean?

"Reserved" means that you're on standby for a gig that is fully allocated. If the confirmed gigger does not confirm his/her availability or cancels his/her shift, you will be automatically prioritised to fill the slot. Our team will send you an activation notification to confirm.

What does “Urgent Hiring” on the job listing means?

"Urgent Hiring" means that there are still available slots for the gig in the next 1 - 2 days that require giggers. These gigs usually have a higher chance of getting hired.

What happens if I am late for my shift?

We advise Giggers to arrive at least 15 minutes earlier before their shift starts. However, if you arrive late for your shift, do remember to scan the QR code to secure your attendance as soon as possible.

Our system will automatically make amendments to pro-rate the total shift earnings according to your clock-in and clock-out time.

What happens if I did not turn up for my shift?

If you know you're unable to turn up for your shift, please inform the FastGig team immediately. If you are unwell, an official 'Medical Certificate' is required. The contact details for each respective country can be found at the bottom of this article.

If you cancel your shift in less than 24 hours without a valid reason, your account will be labeled as 'Last Minute Cancellation' for 7 days. During this time, you will not be allowed to book any shifts. Subsequent 'Last Minute Cancellation' will lead to a permanent ban on your account.

If you did not show up for your shift without prior notice, your account will be marked as 'No Show'. Accounts labeled as 'No Show' will receive a permanent ban from our platform.

There are a few reasons your ratings might drop:

  • Lower ratings from recent employers
  • No shows or last-minute cancellations

We only look at your most recent shifts, so a drop usually means something happened recently.

Why do I have to give my bank details?

Bank details are required for us to process and transfer your earnings. We require your bank e-statement to verify against the bank details in the app. This is to ensure that the information provided is accurate and to avoid any unnecessary delays in payouts of monies earned.

Why is my badge lower this month?

If your badge dropped, it could be because:

  • Your ratings has gone down, or
  • You haven’t completed enough shifts recently.

Check your recent activity to see where improvements can be made — your badge can go back up as your performance improves!

Will I get points for cancelled shifts?
